Mind-full Eating

I love the challenges that our bodies demand of us. Provided we can take the time to listen to what our body is telling us, giving it what it needs brings great rewards. If I haven't slept well the night before, I can count on protein to fuel me through the day and keep my mind sharp. Same goes for the second half of my monthly cycle; protein reins queen those last two weeks! My energy remains level and my cravings are GONE.

But lately I've been all about vegetables. Can't get enough of them. Mashed cauliflower, roasted carrots and broccoli, green beans with roasted sesame seeds, spirulina in my morning smoothie, and spinach sautéed with onions and tomatoes. So to my body I say bring it!
